What is multimodal learning?

Multimodal learning suggests that when a number of our senses – visual, auditory, kinesthetic – are engaged during learning, we understand and remember more. By combining these modes, learners experience learning in a variety of ways to create a diverse learning style.

I call it live MathKids are being instructed outside the classroom.  The students are excited and they are learning!

Ms. Cue’s math class is learning how to translate percentages into decimals and decimals into percentages.

Students from this class took a paper and pencil test yesterday However, when we played the game a few times those students took the test again and they passed – proof that multimodal learning works.
