Food Services

Marlboro County Child Nutrition Services Department successfully completed an administrative review of its processes in November 2021 with the South Carolina Department of Education.  As a participant in the National School Lunch Program, every school food authority is subject to periodic reviews every three years to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements with an emphasis in free and reduced-price meal benefits certification, meal access and reimbursement, resource management, nutritional integrity of meals and other foods sold in schools and other related federal programs.  While there were minor findings, they were all corrected timely and expeditiously.

Administrators of the Child Nutrition Services Department were recognized for their achievement during the February 7th school board meeting.
